Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 is Giving Tuesday

Inspired by the idea to unite people through giving, the global movement Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 by Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. The idea was to harness the power of social media and the internet to connect and encourage people around the world to give back to their community during the Holiday Season. Then and now, givers are invited to take action to give through donations, volunteering, and acts of kindness.

Since 2012 Giving Tuesday has been held annually around the world on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and this year it is on December 3, 2024. But, Giving Tuesday does not stop on this date. It continues through the entire Holiday Season. We hope that you will consider joining with Muskogee Habitat for Humanity in giving back to our city this Holiday Season.
